Glass artist Takeshi Tsujino incorporates Venetian glass techniques as the foundation of his craftsmanship.His series of contemporary hand-blown glass vessels are crafted from recycled glass. The color of the glass varies subtly each time according to the recycled material used in production **Due to the handmade nature of the pieces, variations in size, shape, and color may occur.
Takeshi Tsujino
1964: born in Osaka.
1986: Graduates from Product Design School in Osaka.
1986: Travels to the US and attends classes taught by Italian maestro Lino Tagliapietra and learns glassblowing at various schools and studios.
2001: Establishes the glass studio "fresco" in Izumi City, Osaka Prefecture.
2005: Launches the brand "fresco."
2022: Opened "CAVO," a branch studio in Shirahama-cho, Wakayama Prefecture, as an atelier for his personal and exhibition work.
