Torisan - Nambu Tekki Bird Ornament/ Paperweight (2pc Set)
The pair of nambu tekki birds were designed as small weights but also make wonderful decorative ornaments.
Iwashimizu-san produced this special version of the Torisan, hand colored with a white and gold (Champagne) finish. The pair of small birds come packaged in a kiri wood box.
Hisao Iwashimizu
Kukan Chuzo founder, Hisao Iwashimizu, is not only a skilled ironware craftsman, but he also possesses a keen design sensibility. Working in the traditional Japanese craft of Nambu Tetsu, his creations are understated and minimalist in form, while having rich textures and exquisite curves.
