Kajikobo Hiromitsu
Kajikobo Hiromitsu is a workshop that has carried on the tradition of Japanese forging for eleven generations since its origins in tatara ironworking during the Edo period. Committed to forging with tamahagane and traditional Japanese iron, the artisans uphold time-honored techniques, avoiding machine processing and instead finishing each piece using the traditional kashime-dome (riveting) method. The result is work that possesses both weight and delicacy, refined through generations of craftsmanship.
